Too early again
I hunt for a Coors Light
To lull me back to sleep
But I find only a lone can of root beer
Like the floats I ate on sunny days as a child
Before I knew that floats had fat and calories
And that childhood was better than everything that lay ahead
I should have had warm milk instead

Very interesting. I do enjoy short poetry. I find it quite refreshing.
