You took my arm Engraved it deep You left the mark The bitter trail The shiny metal in my skin The suttle cry You make this in me You make this nothing I found the pedal Of the rose The one I gave you last I saw the shred The final piece That time should cover as I felt the loss The last time That I will let surpass I felt you I lingered in the hallway To let the shadows play I crumbled in the dirt So I could hide away I enclosed my eyes So I couldn't see I ripped out my heart So love could never be Nothing to grasp Nothing to lose Just the constant memory Of what I had with you |

This is so sad. But it was a wonderful poem. Cold hands means a warm heart |

Thank you, this pretty much is a reflection to the feelings long ago, of a relationship that could never work out. I think this kind of relates to anyone, the reason i wrote it was because everyone could share an opinion on it. Everyone could get a sense of its feeling. Thanks for your comments |

Very good piece of writing. A smile a day keeps the world in smile's. |

Nothing to grasp Nothing to lose Just the constant memory Of what I had with you Memories are everything sometimes, aren't they? This was sad, yet beautiful. Hugs Ethel |
