Moon Kissed

My lips tingle with the memory
burned red with lingered passion
Is this the magic of necromancy
from a spell of obsession

Flames spiral at your remembered touch
that made fire and ice equal
In vision my arms reach out to clutch
one who performs the sequel

Flesh quivers beneath tender caress
while hearts beat in unison
Tongues intertwine sharing shortened breaths
desiring to imprison

With the waning night feelings persist
to feed consuming hunger
Blazing eyes reflect a pair moon kissed
through the night, lovers conquer

Startime

(smiles) Oh Karen, this is lovely, sweet friend, I know this peculiar feeling and wonder what it must be like to represent such a silhouette! (kiss on cheek) This is beautiful, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Karen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Startime, this is just lovely. Soft pictures of moonlit moments written spledidly in verse.

Well, I don't know if all these people are ASLEEP or what, but my monitor is SMOKING this is so passionately HOT! LOL  Or maybe my mind is just in a gutter, I'm not sure, but this reads HOT to me!  I love how you compared everything to the moon etc. WOW! EXCELLENT read!

Karen,
Such incredible writing. Are you the Startime that was writing here when I first joined?

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Thank you all for such wonderful replies...you are all so inspiring that I have to often come just to read your words...

Larry...Yes I am the same Startime as was here a while ago...I do not write as much now for I am working on a book...but I often come to read to have my heart touched by the talent of those whose words I love so much...**hugs**

This is incredible. Two days ago I wrote an email to your old address and it bounced. Just wanted you to know that I had been thinking of you and missed your presence. Wow! I'm so glad you are here even if less frequent. I don't write as much either. But more intensely based on this past years experiences.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Karen, this is a beautiful love poem....and yes,
it is very sensual. I especially liked this ending.

With the waning night feelings persist
to feed consuming hunger
Blazing eyes reflect a pair moon kissed
through the night, lovers conquer

Very beautiful.
