Leave but thy scorn before the swath of blade upon the killing field. Let not thy breath be freedom swayed lest in thy vows thee death is willed. For by thy death, thy lone demise a mound shall build upon the lee. Where often naught a maiden cries in wait of one, but not of thee. For in the skies of clouded blue a light does shine the pastures high. A molten heat on azure hue which brings to squint the aching eye. Beneath the stone of granite cold, beneath the mound of dark brown earth. A warrior rests from days of bold before the wars of freedom’s birth. Alas, but these gray olden rocks where low the bones do quietly rest. Have lain in wait centuries clocks until the find of chalice quest. Then whence the golden cup is filled the wine of taste, a knight now free. The vintage over tongue is swilled in toast of quests and chivalry. (big hugggssssssss) I think every knight, every conquistador, every pilgrim, every warrior, every soldier, every cowboy, and every saint has always dreamed of seeing a sky so blue someday, free and vast where our world can be free of corruption and be nothing but chivalrous! (siles) This is lovely, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton P.S: I believe it's spelt "cerulean" and forgive me if I'm wrong Underneath your clothes, there's an endless story |
