“IN A MEADOW”
~~~~
In a meadow I would lay with you,
to know you, if I could,
to hold you close in my embrace,
to begin new, only if you would…
We would breathe the scent,
of love and summertime,
sweet kisses of sunshine,
sweet passion sublime…
Whispers scent of sweet perfume,
fragrance of you to mystify,
moist lips tracing into a trance,
passions felt within to amplify…
Soft meadow grass caresses,
words that sigh in poetry,
eyes closed we wonder,
is this a dream, or reality…
A dream of sweet violets I can taste,
for your lips are intense and through,
to hold you warm is of heart’s want,
as I lay here in a meadow with you…
~~~~

You two are the wildflowers and the summer breeze
the hint of everything that's good and brings me to my knees.

This is done so very well, so fluid, I don't even want to know who wrote what.  Some poets blend?  The two of you mix.

Beautiful!

Anytime Bill...anytime! I think it's a lot of fun doing duets - it gets you out of your own writing mode so you have to reflect someone else's style.
