I suppose that I should feel desperate
that friends have betrayed me
behind the scenes
passing along their judgements
but I knew all along
so there is no sense hurting
over something I have accepted.
My words are here
all my truths on this page
my views wrapped in words
my passion
pain
sadness
joy
and endurance
trapped in this place.
I have more heart
than all those who hide
only peaking out to spread their claws.
I will write
I will love
and the undercurrent of betrayal
will not be enough
to drown my determination.

Well, Temptress, I also have no idea what you are talking about or who you are talking to...but that is just as well.

I would like to say that I have liked every one of your poems I have read. Sometimes I don't leave a reply because I don't know what to say. I have noticed that you always speak your heart and that is very good. I also speak my heart.

I do leave you a hug...and it is from the heart, too.
