Point of Start

There is no point that I can start
And no start that I can point
For I must fly upon my art
And hope a common will anoint.

It seems a circle with a rhyme
Subject to a pressure gage
Played upon a visible time
Upon an ever changing stage

No top or bottom that I see
Not visible is its core
At least it seems that way to me
A wave that rides to evermore

And the shore seems to oscillate
Deposited and dragged away
Vacillate and permeate
Settles but it does not stay

How can we point a point of start?
It is surely beyond our art.

Good Morning Sy!
Wonderful words this morn...
there is beyond a doubt no beginning and no end
to your wonderful words of rhyme.
Much enjoyed this morning's read.

Hey, now, that point wouldn't be a circle, would it?  Or is the chicken looking at the egg?  Whatever it be...it's sweet poetry.

Good morning Sy!

Hey Sy
Like Chapin's "all my life's a circle"

Great reasoning my friend.

Seek not a starting point, my dear Sonneteer! Life is a circle and there is no beginning and there is no end.

You really are so incredibly special! You have a fine mind, a quick wit, and a talent oh, so rare.

Have a glorious day, my friend,
Linda

Nice work,
Not quite a sonnet, but it is in your recognizable style,
Which you do so well.
I also heard sounds of the song by H. Chapin
Rolling round my skull.
Enjoyed

Your rhymes are the point of which I start,
for your poetry is the art of my heart.

(sigh) Certainly it is beyond our art, but not beyond our intuition! (big hugggssssssss) Only you can chart your own progress, dearest friend, make your voyage across these atmospheres, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
