God's Angel (Dedicated To My Dear Friend Jamie)

Jamie passed away on the 22nd of this month and as much as i miss her i know she is free from pain. I love her and her memory will forever be in my heart.

“The time has come” God said to thee
He then reached out a hand
He wanted to take our very own angel away
To a place far beyond this land

He promised her that she would never
Feel pain of any kind
He promised her eternal happiness
In everything she did find

Upon this earth was sorrow
Upon this earth was pain
But she pulled through with the help of friends
And strength she did gain

She reached out her hand and took God’s in hers
And knew that it was time to go
She looked on back at everyone
As she realized her life on earth was done

She turned around as she went on her way
To the place God promised her
She let a tear fall from her eye
And gave a gentle sigh

She promised one last thing
Before she disappeared
She promised she would always be around
To always show us that she cared

She tried to smile through her tears
She tried all in vain
But as she took one last look at us
She couldn’t help but cry again

As she finally reached those pearly gates
With the company of God
She found a place to call her new home
She knew that she could forever be free to roam

Jamie takes her place once more
As an angel dressed all in white
She is looking down on us
Feeling that this is right

She is an angel to us all
God just wanted her to go home
Home to the place she once came from
The place that is well known

While she might of left here
With nothing but pain in her heart
She smiled down on us one last time
With memories that will forever stay in our hearts

She loves us all
She thanks us too
That we became her friends
Friends that were always there for her
Friends to the very end

I know its hard to carry on
But believe me when I say
That no matter what happens
She will be with you every day

In our heart’s are memories
Memories of present and past
They will forever be stored in your heart
They are a gift from her which will always last

She is happy where she is now
In God’s great garden
She looks down on us and smiles
Knowing that she has touched hearts for miles

Jamie will forever be
An angel to us all
She is always going to be around
Now and forever so don’t doubt she wont call

Every now and again
You hear the wind’s soft breeze
You never know what it could be
But it might be Jamie calling in quickly before she leaves

So when you think of Jamie
Look up to the heaven’s above
Because you just might get a slight pain in your heart
A pain to show that she and you are never far apart
