~*Silence of Scream*~

I know the silence of the scream
Invading sleep - denying dream
Its muffled echo causes chill
With knowing of a heart now still

Where once the sound of laughter reigned
Now roars a madness, unrestrained
Its haunting sound of deep despair
Torments the sayer of the prayer

Lord, let this cup pass me this day
That demons may be kept at bay
