A mountain lies ahead of me |

My apologies to Frost..... A mountain lies ahead of me with boulders strewn from jagged peaks along a path I must now take if I'm to find serenity. I stumble on each hour I wake; cannot falter, pause or stray. To mount this summit is my test, so on I push despite the ache. And when I reach the final crest I bow to knee and catch my breath. Then humbly pray to Lord above with thankful heart for journey blest. He guided me on winding path And spared me from the mountain's wrath. And spared me from the mountain's wrath. |

WELL DONE! Frost would be smiling, no doubt. And mountains to climb before.... |

Inspiring write! Having climbed a few mountains myself, I'd say you have written a beautiful poem about the journey to God's country on mountain peak! It's worth the trek and staying your course in life. The path least traveled is the most difficult--and can also be the most rewarding! Warm hugs, EA |
