~*~ Mesmerizing candles Soft music playing low I ease into the water Becoming one with its flow I soak in scented water With bubbles to my chin My hair swept up saucily And fastened with a pin Louffa spongeing of my body Makes my skin all aglow Bath chamber full of fragrance Refreshing body, mind and soul I lie here so mellow Feeling cozy, safe and warm As raging winds blow outside I lie sheltered from the storm ~*~ [This message has been edited by Earth Angel (05-26-2003 07:44 PM).] |

Noah ~ Noah, I used to love to play with my daughters' rubber duckies when I had my baths! I'm like you! I love to play! My grandmothers had a child-like quality about them until they returned to their Home in the stars--and there was evidence that they liked rubber duckies too! Huggums, Dear One, Linda |

Nice write Linda of course the image of you in a bath helps..winkwinknudgenudge I've never been one for baths i think it's more a female thing, I never understood it. Sure there are soaps and candles and bubbles but basically your just wallowing in your own filth..oh wait i do understand it's like a weekend with the guys |

*drools* & *daydreaming* lol sorry I love taking bubble baths and putting on sarah mclachlan and I can't spell sorry...I could so use one right now its very soothing..loved this sweet angel!!!! If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried. |

I picture now that bubble bath That you are sitting in. The visuals are so intense My head is in a spin! There's nothing like a bubble bath To make one feel alive Although it's sad that bubbles Find it quite hard to survive. They slide - they burst - their life is done They've given you their all. Their only joy is feeling your Smooth softness as they fall. If reincarnation does exist And if I'm really lucky When I die and come back I'll be Your favorite rubber ducky!! |

This is an excellent poem. Unlike some poems, the rhymes complement the poem, rather than stick out. I like the line about your hair up saucily and tied with a pin. That's just like me! |

Suthern ~ I have been missing you! You sound like one busy southern gal! You simply must find the time to pamper yourself! When I am burning the candle at both ends, I need my special bubble bath time even more! I'll give up sleeptime to have it! I make sure that I have my bubble bath every day.
