I could... Well I could have better posture but composure is what counts I could be more assertive But I’ll just sit as anger mounts I could go get a job But work is for a peasant I could go back to school But most classes are unpleasant I could put down the pipe But then what will ease the pain I could put down the bottle But my health’s too far to gain I could learn how to compromise But I missed that day of kindergarten I could learn how to sympathize But first must learn to pardon I could be academic I could be more athletic I could be empathetic I could be more pathetic I’m in a world of Dr. Phil’s When all I need is a medic... The list goes on and on you see Of things that I choose not to be But instead of rambling till I’m crazy I’m stopping now because I’m lazy.... |

He kinda reminds me of some people in my own life who were always telling me what to do. Even the Mom of one of my girlfriends would always say to me: Linda! C-I, C-O, T-I, B-I Translation: Chin In, Chest Out, Tummy In, Bum In !!! Well, she certainly straightened my posture and taught me deportment--and of that I am thankful. We may not like being given unsolicited advice, but at times it can be quite helpful!  I enjoyed your tongue-in cheek rant! It was quite amusing! Warm hugs, EA |
