Congratulations to my granddaughter inlaw on becomming a doctor. Congratulations I met a woman full of bright Who often gazed the stars at night Sailing symbols threw the air Of all the things that she would dare She made a promise to herself And placed the mundane on a shelf Walked a path of painful straight This one that she would make her fate And so she slew the dragon still With nothing but an iron will And walked into horizons addle Grabbed the reigns and sat the saddle And now she sits her feathered nest She did her quest and passed the test And is entitled to her due All the pleasures of her coup Congratulations Shawnna dear You have conquered the giant fear. |

Please extend our Congratulations as well...the doctors today are being given some wonderful patient sensitivity courses... I know of several physicians in our area [young, bright, energetic people such as your granddaughter] who even go to the family's home for prayer, and assurance. I wonder what your Shawnna could do with some of your poems as a healthy Rx, Sy?... |

Wonderful tribute to Shawnna, dear Seymour, she will appreciate your beautiful words ..... holding such a profound truth. Sacrifices are always needed when a goal has to be reached. And not everybody has this iron will. Beautiful! My compliments to Shawnna. Love, Margherita |

Seymour, this is such a beautiful tribute to your Shawnna. She will love that you are going to present your poem at her graduation party. I know that you all are so proud of her. That is a great accomplishment that I'm sure took a lot of hard work and sacrifices. Give her our congratulations, too. Hugs Ethel |

I met a woman full of bright Who often gazed the stars at night Sailing symbols threw the air Of all the things that she would dare ========================= Brilliant people surround themselves with the same, so its no surprise to me that your family is full of bright spots and beacons. Lovely poetic gifting of your heart Sy-babes. Congrats to all, thank you for sharing the joy. *ww* Darkness cannot drive out darkness ... only light can do that. |

Sy, Well it seems class begets class! Congratulations to you both... You wear your pride well. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |
