Of Tone And Time

So it begins. Harmonics only rise,
grow thin as wavelengths shrink in size;
but harmony runs down the scale,
grows deeper, richer without fail,
adds warming resonance and grace
with each step, Alto, Tenor, Bass…
And time is after all just time,
though such a great unknown
that everything, each soul that’s living,
must define its own.
