standing on a shadow's lace

Not For Now

I do
not open
your letters
anymore
it would hurt
too much
to again feel
I do touch
the envelopes
of where
your hand
has traced
it is all
I can do
to let
them lie
on the table
in shadows
of candle light
as for now
I am
too weak
so I
pass them by
waiting for
another day
but not
for now
