Listen to my coins
Tossed into the wishing well,
Soundlessly they fall
Then strike the muddy bottom,
For it has gone dry
And can grant nothing to me,
But my pouch is full
And I toss them in slowly
Knowing all wishing is gone.

The Choka or Japanese Long poem in a Tanka Style
follows the format 5,7,5~(7,5)*n~,7,7  where the n is any number.
When the n=0 it is the classic Tanka,
No rhyme is needed, but the theme must be consistant.
