I see you in gathering twilight
your back to the wind, your face aflame
with the fine burnished gold of the sun,
you are the glowing horizon.

I see you beside me in moonlight
you walk with the calm of the earth,
you fill me like slow rolling thunder
you are the goddess of love.

I see you in flickering candle light
dark eyes soft and smiling,
your scent and your heartbeat surround me;
were these memories all of life
they would be enough.

There is a sense of magic in the little things that count. I especially liked the sound of thunder...and how you captured the impending rainfall, immersed in feelings after the storm.

passing shadows ~ times of pain for me blend together; moments of beauty stand out in sharp relief.  I don't know if it is like that for others. Thank you for reading.
