Our eyes laced themselves A spiral in between As the night withdrew our thought And put us here tonight I held you once To watch you go And now I'm left A thought of you Memory is all that stains The portrait in my mind Of the time I held I only held it once And now I sit here Staring out my window The wind whispering The stars a living tale How often do I think And see you in my mind How often do I find You lost within my eyes When will you be here Again within my grasp |
