While walking with back blocking winds The swirl that twirls around is simple sins The desire to be greedily warmer now This is the starting how of the simple sins. Wishing for the warmth of gentle touch That can mean so much for warming soul and skin There are those that will rent the warming touch And it will not cost much to feel their warming skin They will offer all on the cold city street corners For just a few dollars will commit their simple sin I walk with beyond them that dwell on cold corners Letting chill down my collar to chill my blood and skin Tacking across the street blowing me down the hill I keep myself the chill and desire not those simple sins. Sin is always simple, it's the aftermath that's hard. [This message has been edited by WhiteRose (05-28-2003 11:04 AM).] |
