~*~ The night was cold, The winds were blowin'. As creatures roamed, Red blood was flowin'. The shrieks and screams Echoed thru' the fog, With distant howls From deranged dog. With hairs on end, Bumps rose on skin. I saw before me, An evil grin. It's foul breath Steamed windowpane, As lightening cracked, Came pelting rain. I pulled the drapes, Then raced to bed, And pulled the sheets Up over head! ~*~ |

Mr. T. ~ I am only a lesser angel--the earthy variety. I'm not of the upper phyllums as the archangels, seraphins etc. You see, in the angelic realm there is a well-defined hierarchy and I'm near the bottom of it so my powers are less and the boogeyman caaaan get me!   Nighttime hugs, EA |

Nancy ~ I never did find out what it was because I hid my head under the covers---but the next morning, I did notice gigantic footprints in the soggy earth below my window. Whatever had been there was HUGE! Huggums, EA |

Eeeeeekkkkk  Linda,this was scary. It reminded me of the ghost stories my cousins and I used to tell each other when I was growing up. We would scare each other so bad!! It sure was fun to scare the other person, though. LOL Hugs, Ethel |

Ethel ~ Dontchya just love telling and hearing ghost stories. Movies about ghosts are my absolute fave!--but they must not be macabre or violent. I enjoy the hauntingly beautiful ones, i.e. "Lady In White", "Lost In Time" etc. Morning hugs! Linda |
