I sit knee deep within My mind Day dreaming Of another time When you held me so close Within your arms When you spoke of love Promising my heart would never come near harm Years have passed We've parted ways Now you're back I no longer know what to say Or how to express The disappointment Lingering within my being I thought you loved me You swore up and down you did Please don't tell me You were only spellbound by a whim Didn't you know It was against the rules To lead me to and fro I'm sorry sweetheart I'm not a ping pong ball Can't you tell I deserve so much more So please promise me Only say what you mean We both know I get hurt easily If you truly didn't love me Then why did you throw the word around carelessly I believed you more than anything You even tried to convice me That we were soulmates But look at us now I want to get close to you But I'm too afraid That you'd only reject me... Ceinwyn...I know exactly what you're going through. I just recently found my junior high sweet heart. We were so close then..and one day he just moved really far away, i didnt hear from him for about 8yrs. and now all of a sudden he is back in my life. I never stopped loving him, but this time it has to be different..he is in love with someone else, but that doesnt stop him from expressing and acting upon his emotions. Just need you to know that you are not alone on this..just let time take its course..what's meant for you, yours will be. miriam coronado |
