Eight
One number to dial
One to stand in the way
One to talk for a while
One to talk about your day
To tell me those things
Those things that I missed
The tales and the memories
Of that we first kissed
The magic around about and below
The magic of all the love we can show
But the one number that stands
That stands in our way
Like a strong and powerful barricade
That stands in my mind
My heart and my sould
Prevents me from calling
And saying "Hello"
So I hang up the phone
And claim "I won't try again"
The feeling of regret soon settles in
I stare at the phone
Pick it up dial that seven digit code
6-2-5-0-8-0
Hesitation overcomes me on that last final one
Eight. Hello
