 I want to say to this wonderful new friend... I appreciate so much the help that you send I want to tell you, friend that your name fits you well... Your heart beams out sunshine in the poems and stories you tell You, and all the others, in my new "home" I've found... Give words through your poetry that is so very profound At times the words are soothing like a cool gentle breeze... And at other times so playful as they sweetly tease But always, my sweet friends here at PIP....... I know when I come "home" again, beautiful rays of sunshine you all will give to me . . . This is another poem that I wrote right after I came to this site. I wrote it for a tribute to Sunshine...Karilea. She has been such a help to me since I've been at Passions....gently helping me when I needed guidance. All of you have been such a great help to me that I just felt like telling you all again today. Like in the other poem I re-posted today, I hope I've learned a little more about writing since I've been here, too. And like I said in the other re-post today, Nancy Lee/Enchantress has helped me with the font and colors, as well as putting graphics with my poems. The original didn't have a picture. I appreciate ALL of you so much. Each of you is special in your own unique way, and I love you people!!! I mean that in the most sincere way, too!! and thats why we call her Sunshine.  very sweet of you poetess Ethel ... your sincerety is the true gift in this one.  I refuse to accept that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism & war that the daybreak of peace can never be reality. |
