The day you was born I vowed to myself to try to be a perfect mom to you one that you could be very proud of I was so proud of you I would tell everyone "Thats My Son" I was so sure I would be a perfect mom but it didn't take me long to realize that there isn't any perfect parents we dont get lessons in this one thing I didn't need lessons on was how to love you it was so natural to love you with all of my heart Now you are all grown up I just wanted to be sure you knew son I have never been ashamed of you on any thing you believe in you have always been very much the son I have wanted and I am still proud to tell everyone "Thats My Son" I Love You Son Terry for your birthday 5/20/03 [This message has been edited by carol (05-19-2003 04:34 PM).] |

I can imagine many things, but can not imagine having a mother who would say these things. I hope your son feels as fortunate as he should feel. Thank you for sharing this. |

Rita, you already know that I love this poem. And, I believe that Terry will too on his birthday. The poem is so loving and heart-felt. Thank you for sharing your heart with us. Hugs, Ethel |
