Come and sit beside me on the step The sun remains to glow warm here Taken into my heart, you are welcome To know what drives me on Always, have I wondered of the why When God lives in my daily life There is no church that holds me As I will live my beliefs, not preach them Come laugh at the world as I see it There is no disrespect in the humor of life Taken bitter, taken sweet, it must be taken I steer the chariot and reign the steed And people slap these labels on cans of fruit A category of what they don’t understand If ever there was rage it is against that To know myself raspberry, divines such comprehend Come closer if you are my friend In my heart, there is nothing hidden Always clearly spoken, with discrimination I choose to see the pool of good, some may only puddle And hold me close, for I have chosen you There is nothing that could ever part us In my naïve and willful way, I conjure dreams As only I can build my home on this foundation Come sit beside me on the step Be strong in your will and your ways I am sent to learn of the forest and the meadow For the sea and the sky have embraced me Copyright Kkh 5/19/03 |

TD "Come sit beside me on the step Be strong in your will and your ways I am sent to learn of the forest and the meadow For the sea and the sky have embraced me" I would sit with you anytime and watch the special world you see, then weave it's magic into words for me to read. |
