Everyone Knew She Was Windy Seemed like everyone else was listening to the Beatles but she was always playing the music of the Association. She was so cute I could kiss her. And I did every chance that I got we'd meet under the sycamore tree half way between her place and mine and on moonlit nights I'd hold her tight and kiss her and she would reach out to capture a moment and everyone knew she was Windy. Even I started believing it after awhile because I needed her kisses and I loved her smile. JamesLee May19 2003 FormypreciousfirstloveBillie whobelievedshewasWindy. Windy by The Association Who's peeking out from under a stairway calling a name that's lighter than air. Who's bending down to give me a rainbow. Everyone knows it's Windy. Who's tripping down the streets of the city smiling at everybody she sees. Who's reaching out to capture a moment. Everyone knows it's Windy. And Windy has stormy eyes that flash at the sound of lies. And Windy has wings to fly above the clouds, above the clouds. Who's tripping down the streets of the city smiling at everybody she sees. Who's reaching out to caputure a moment. Everyone knows it's Windy. |

James, this is so beautiful. I've never heard the song, or maybe I have, but I never seem to remember the titles... but your words are so sweet. It speaks of a sweet and innocent first love. _,,,^.^,,,_ |

AHA! I remember that song! And it's a nice tribute to your friend that you remember her this way. Hope she has a chance to read this. |

(smiles) Yep, I remember that song too (or should I say I have heard it) and as much as The Beatles are the father of all rock and roll so many other artists deserve recognition that never really got it! (big hugggsssssss) May Windy continue to grace that sycamore tree, sweet friend, yay, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet James, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton Underneath your clothes, there's an endless story |

this reads like an easy breezy heart beat. Love the innocent spirit of the write. Well done SBJ I refuse to accept that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism & war that the daybreak of peace can never be reality. |
