Winds of time,
ghostly shadow of brilliance,
stubborn will of reinforced concrete,
hidden bruises of nonconformity,
immovable mind to bend anymore,
self exiled to loneliness.

In a mountain stream so pure,
the medicinal water baptizes,
spirits renewal of pristine thoughts,
treasure of a free mind,
unhindered by societies conservative values
to dam your works.

From a landscape so vast,
wilderness of the unknown,
the flight of the phoenix
learning from past failures,
notched grooves of experience,
wrinkled age of father time,
an inner universe
with no boundaries.

Bandages of scars,
tattoo the body,
piercing’s of betrayed trust,
true blue friends,
stabbing your identify,
wanting to knock you down
from your special views,
of inspirational wisdom.

Crusty exterior of survival,
showing no emotion,
a gem of warmth within,
so caring the tears hide,
a heart of emotion silenced,
the darkness of inner faith,
within heaven’s special graces.

Warrior of hurts,
driven for the need of purpose,
there is no miracle ahead,
but the suicide of giving up,
lies in never defeating yourself,
in taking the gamble out of life,
negativity wins the chemical imbalance.

The battle of demons goes on,
until words so deep come out of you,
to set others believing the impossible,
that a  recluse mind,
has a dangerous sting of truth serum,
still able to open up closed minds,
for a poet’s words breathes with them,
beyond the dust they turn into.

In their grave the world shall rumble,
earthquakes shall shatter glass,
cycles of minds will come and go,
but a recorded masterpiece,
may make a poet,
finally rest in peace,
as society struggles with the words
that never could be extinguished.

How perfectly said....each verse holds so much meaning.  The pain that aches made me feel good in an odd way, perhaps because it  speaks so clearly and unconditionally to me.

I applaud you~ Bravo Sir~

Perhaps there's sound reasoning behind hermitage... Time to say the words that society shall never shed... I enjoyed this DL..
