Twilight

Here in the twilight of extreme
I play the lines of lights that gleam
Pluck the notes of gone emotes
And listen to the dreams remote.

These are times of silent wear
Mimes of breathing freedoms air
Turning back in pages probe
Thrilling kisses upon a lobe.

I ghost and host a spirits toast
Under a memories candles post
Oscillating in the breeze
Moments of a lover’s tease

Yes, oh yes this can be so
Even though my hair shows snow
And yellow burns the page with age
It’s I that yearns upon this stage.

It is the embers glowing bright
That keeps me from eternal night

Good morning!

Your twilight burns more brightly than the high noons of men half your age!

Life is always worth living when you still have so much to give. Keep up the writing. It has touched so many of us here at PIP.

Beautiful closing couplet on this lovely piece Sy!
How about I keep fanning you
to keep those embers burning?
Tea's on...I'll pour!
My sister will be here shortly with the eats.

Earth Angel,
Flattery will get you everywhere, LOL

JM,
You are the diva of my fever
One that acts a cantilever
You are my crowd of lace and grace
A cloud of colors holding place

I'll write you tonight and finish it.

Nan
I love you too,
