In that echo, of laughter and light, where staggering hurt meets time's discovery, I found you. In amidst the fleeting memories, of floating feeling and reminiscence, I found you. In the darkest spot, so wounded and seething within my heart. Within the chaos of surrounding fear. Within the splendor of secure life. Where safety meets the eye and love, the tongue. I found you. Oh fiendish love, wretched desire. I purge thee through my very pours. And give you life where my heart and soul would long to have you bleed away. I give you voice and purpose where love should defy thy wicked rage. May God lay temperance upon this voice, upon these hands so tainted red with this disease. I found you, amid the daisies of my dreams. And so clearly did my perception grow to meet the deceiving eye of your nature. How fondly I remember, when love was love, and I was unknowing...... |

Pain seems pretty evident here. Well...I hope you're dealin' fine. Great poem, very descriptive. Liked it. I don't know if today is a good day, or if yesterday was, or if tomorrow will be, but I'd like to think so. |
