Is it Infatuation. When is it love, can it be when the fragrance of you lingers hours after we part, can it be the lingering remembrances of the sparkle in your eyes, or is it the way my heart beats to a softer rhythm after we have spent quality time together, Could it be that I long to smell the scent of roses that reminds me of you, or is it my impatience longing to see you, and see again the glow in your eyes, perhaps it's how my heart races when I see you in my eyes, and wanting to spend a lifetime with you. Love is so enchanting and many times will mystify our senses by intoxicating our beliefs of mind in to having us wondering is it real or infatuation. It matters not how you answer, It matters only that i hear you. |

Very sincere question QjQ... I enjoyed your poem! If I may? Infatuation is the signal of an overwhelming desire for someone... And since it usually precedes true love... It is, often merely the first step, toward love... The infatuation, is what often reminds us later, how powerfully magical our fascination, and crazed devotion was for each other... And that sometimes, goes a long way, toward keeping our love, intact... Infatuation is when one person loves another... True love... is when they both, love each other... Now these are the thoughts of one (very) simple man... (?) So... I may be wrong... (!) But... Simply put... Infatuation Rocks! |

Such a nice scent in the longing of your words...It was easy to catch a whif of the whole bouquet and imagine the beauty you've arranged. |

QjQ, this is so beautifully romantic. I really enjoyed reading this one. Of course, being the hopeless romantic that I am, love poems are my favorite kind of poems. "To be in love with love is truly to love".....by Paladin |

QjQ....This poem is beautiful and brings out a very important view of what makes love infatuation or true love. There are so many subtle layers to love. And, your poem beautifully illustrates this. ***Ivy Rose |
