Grab the wheel a sec he says patting his jacket in desperate need of a cigarette wild eyed as if he were warding off hallucinated spiders Wheel in hand I allow myself a momentary lapse into the dark mesmerized by the lights I veer slowly into oncoming traffic You're insane he says jerking the wheel from my hands I blush as if I've just been complimented Sanity bores me [This message has been edited by Aenimal (05-13-2003 02:09 PM).] |
