Stealing the world like cataracts Can we forget the spin of this war and listen to a concerto from another time? Let’s enjoy the rain that comes less often now but at least for today rinses this vile air I stay this lonely road on pure momentum and the fractions of ancient swamps and forests Each day the despair I cannot share becomes another caustic memory locked behind dull dimming eyes in the blackness of a long night I would show you scars elsewhere that would remind us of another war one we stopped not quite too late suggesting we can again be in time before tiger salamander attempts his crossing needing more protection than this spring rain © 041603 |

this is so deep, and: "I stay this lonely road on pure momentum and the fractions of ancient swamps and forests" tells me you're still there. |
