I am me, Why can’t I be free, The answer is not here, Now all I can do is swallow my tears. I have love to give, Who will take it that’s what the question is, No one will share their love, Is it something I’m not worthy of. Worthy of your kisses and touch, Why does love hurt so much, Tell me, tell me why I love you, But you hurt me, you know you do, And now I can’t say I love you. I’m supposed to move on, How can I when you held my heart for so long, Life’s not fair, Love will give your heart a tare, So I ask myself, Why do I now live in a shell, My mind is racing, A thousand thoughts run through my head, Should I begin hating, Is love dead, Is it something I’m not worth of, Worthy of your kisses and touch, Why does love hurt so much, Tell me, tell me why I love you, But you hurt me, you know you do, And now I can’t say I love you.
