A moment passing by our doors, Surprising sense and heartbeat scores Lets me long for hours more Of whispering the sun. I planned to pass as every time a smile if love has found a rhyme, as sure as tower bells hit chime I know my heart is won Stop a moment, take a chance Feel my life turn with your glance Hear a word to move romance Set it into flight These dreamlike thoughts took over mind I now step forward into line Hear you answer, real this time, And far above my sights Why I never spoke to you, I know, for how I love - To keep my heart from knowing who Might break it from above The time drifts by, so unreal I never want this wound to heal Now we know we can conceal Any word but love. |
