the music lingers on long after the tape is played far too long after like engraved images of meteorite showers behind the distant horizon on a clear night stamped into memory while new tunes come by they sing and then they die like brand new relationships: fresh flesh like small-time hobbies to be noted in a stranger’s journals collecting goldfish (for instance) like dreams that can’t be remembered and by the way like lines of a favourite song first love’s never forgotten puppy love and teenage afflictions irreplaceably innocent like childhood laughs filling the room and staying there in the heart of the mother long after child becomes man far too long after a legacy that lives on far after the land bears a different name in dusty chambers of the heart history books of feel coloured by crayons of thought and words from the soul of having been of meaning to someone and even if that meaning is lost the having been never loses its shine and the moments of meaning are never wiped unlike chalk from a blackboard long after age breaks down time far too long after far too long that then could be the greatest gift of all like timeless parachutes dyed in yellow and blue flying across land and sea in an infinite green dream far too long |

like engraved images of meteorite showers behind the distant horizon on a clear night stamped into memory nice imagery and love the line break... well done my friend.. well done indeed. I would say there are a number of young ladies who would swoon at reading your words and delving into the thoughts behind them. |

I concur, that this is a fine piece of writing. You have, it seems, found your voice. Your writing is now a signature. |

yes, my friend. . . the music never ends. . . only the tunes change. . . and yes, it's been far too long since I've last read you my friend. . .I shall try to not have it be so long next time. . . great work. . . ---------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. "far too long that then could be the greatest gift of all like timeless parachutes dyed in yellow and blue flying across land and sea in an infinite green dream" Ah, yes... Sometimes the "far too long" is simply grace given to us to remember how far we have come--The greatest gift of all. Sudhir, this is excellent! I really enjoy reading your poetry. Blessings, El Campeador “We are all travelers in the wilderness of this world, and the best that we can find in our travels is an honest friend.” –Robert Louis Stevenson |
