Marginal figurines lost in a maze, careening from pillar to post, wandering aimlessly hoping to find living success, or its ghost; down the blind alleys we stumble and fall, wondering why we are here quite unaware there's no where to go, truth distills hope into fear; into the hallway of mirrors and out, blinded by seeing ourselves, down through the cobwebs and corridors lost, haunted by echoing bells. Conjuring images, molded in wax by billions of amateur hands, dropped in the maze as a deity's joke and herded in refugee bands; dragging and weaving with stragglers left to fend for themselves in the dark, the masses continue on paraffin feet, we shuffle but don't leave a mark; coherency broken to rambling noise, our babbling fades in the past memories abandoned are melted and drawn, and the first to forget are the last. ©2003 by icebox |

The only place left to go is within when all about crumbles into meaningless junk. |

*smile* The meaning of life is simple and it does come from within. Courage. Thank you for reading. |

I like the way you play with the language here. It loops and twines and turns inside out then over...oh--see what I mean? I got lost in there and the sing song rhyme scheme lent such flow, I had to come back and actually isolate each thought to render the meaning--which was equally good. Enjoyed this very much. |

Thank you for your comments. The tangled threads of life get us all lost from time to time and the journey is all we can share with others met along the way. |

Oh my, isn't that the truth! Love the depth in your words, and the difference that you make. I'm so glad you're here icebox~ |

LOL, I absolutely loved the mental/visual juxtaposition of Kelly and Jung. I'll come back to this later, as it's time to head out the door in search for my real self. |

There is a balance point between the two. I had seen Kelly many times when I was a boy and learned the works of Jung much later. Since the study of Jung tends to promote "inner" study and supports the theory that chance plays very little roles in human lives, it was through that study that I bumped into the memory of Kelly...and I understood. |
