I drifted my shoes off real slow
just so I can curl the cues
off the pinks and purple toes--
been so long since I did that.

Oh I liked the way it felt
somethin' there for me to grab

since I danced barefoot on shag.

I played the denim of my shirt
off my shoulders, riding low--
hearing moans of the church goin'
women make me lose my mind...

So I snapped the button down
and hitched a ride upon a zip
taunting train to go down hip--
tell me that I aint soul-full?

play my fingers through my hair
and take a real long taste of--this?
eyelashes bat down to--there...

watch me go down on my knees.
Feel the blend of neverend
of pinks and purple--shag again...
