~*~ I awoke this morning with the glorious Scent of lilacs wafting through my Open bedroom window. I leapt out of my bed And ran barefoot into the back yard. There before me lie the most Splendiferous sight. The long-awaited moment had arrived! While I was sleeping, Mother Nature had been spinning her magic! ~ The lilacs had burst into bloom! The variety and vibrancy of colors, Were beyond description. Dew drops shone like diamonds As the early morning light Kissed the harbingers of spring. I buried my head into the floral masses, Inhaling deeply of nature's sweet essence, And I thanked the Universe For this little piece of heaven. ~*~ [This message has been edited by Earth Angel (05-05-2003 12:27 PM).] |

BC ~ You are absolutely 100% correct! I have lilac-scented lotions, potions and perfumes. I luxuriate in lilac-scented baths as well. My home is filled with lilacs when they are in bloom and I love to wear lilac-colored clothes! I even burn lilac-scented candles! I suppose my name should be Linda L. Lilacs! Luvin' hugs, EA |

 (smiles) Yay! Recently too the beautiful flowers have bloomed and I leapt out of my bed quickly like a little boy on Christmas morning screaming "Yay!" and running outside to see them all closer! (kiss on cheek) I can't wait till next month too when all the other flowers bloom like in Alice In Wonderland's song "Golden Afternoon", this is heavenly, God Bless You, we all love you so much!
