Tears There are tears, which fall silently like rain Bathing a soul to wash away pain These are the tears that are shed in grief Their falling brings a sense of relief They may drip from within tirelessly But soon they are nothing just a memory These are the tears of sorrows sad song The ones that soak a pillow all night long There are tears, which gush from anger’s eyes That frame words strung with poisons lies These are the tears that speak of hate That denies that truth is in the hand of fate These are the tears that fall in despair When you think that life is cruel and so unfair But these tears don’t last they drain away Fading from view in the light of day There are tears, which flow in a constant stream When your life turns into a nightmare’s dream When the hopes you had lie broken and torn When you watch in dread the rise of the morn These are the tears that cut like a knife When the life you live is full of strife But these tears will cease eventually And you’ll find the sun will shine constantly There are tears, which only fall in the lonely night But all tears fade in the warmth of hopes light Marsha Tomorrow is another day I don't know what it holds |

So many tears, at times, we wonder if the well will ever drain.... it never really does... but it does subside, a bit... because those gone from us, wish us only Life, and the thrive to continue.... Just as it should be, so shall it be done... yes? |

Dearest Mushy, you turn your tears into beautiful words my sweet friend. You're right, they'll dry up eventually They'll be replaced by a beautiful memory And when that happens dear Mushy love You'll be touched by a smile from above In my thoughts I'll hold you tight And we could chat all through the night How love has touched, then fled away Then we would toast to the coming day That is really what friends are for To help you live through grieve and more So raise your glass my Mushy dear For I think dawn will soon be here Love'n hugs,  TitiaLike scattered leaves...my words will flow [This message has been edited by Titia Geertman (05-04-2003 08:22 PM).] |
