“AGAIN NEW” by Bill Charles ~~~~ Something inside is saying for me to write, perhaps it’s my muse prompting me now, I want to write of love and tender romance, my inspiration comes from you somehow… When dawn breaks with the rising sun, and your eyes first open in morning’s light, I can only stare captivated by what I see, knowing I was with you during the night… So my fingers type on these many keys, putting words together dreamy with you, a sentence, a verse, one after the other, when it’s done my being is again new… ~~~~ |

Bill, this is exactly how I feel about writing about my Gary and me. It renews the joy and happiness that we feel, and pushes away the bad memories of another life. This one, kind Sir, is another keeper for me. Hugs, Ethel (By the way, thank you very much for your comments on my poem "Tear Drops". Oh Bill, you are again new after writing? This is so cool. I always feel something is welling up inside of me just before I write...almost like labor pains. Then after the write is complete, I feel sort of emptied, like I have given birth. I hope this is not too much information, but that it the process for me. Sometimes the labor is a long and hard struggle, and other times, it is short-lived and the verse is before me. Thanks for sharing your beautiful verse. -Patricia |
