Mixed Emotions Some days one feels listless, languorous thinking about the stillness compared to yesterday. The sweeping of rain by cars the only sound penetrating these walls. I take my first sips of coffee in years, hoping the caffeine will distribute equally making my body wish to stir and accomplish what is in my leftover mind. I surrender to patience, drop the nagging of myself knowing that time is always there and one day, soon I hope to stop hovering over myself and allow the dandelions in my life to die on their own. M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

I hope to stop hovering over myself and allow the dandelions in my life to die on their own. These lines are beautiful, rounding up a well-written poem. Your use of language (listless, languorous) works well with the pokm, and the whole thing has a smooth feel to it. I enjoyed it very much. Well done Zaynab Kill me tonight and I will love again |

I can sense the mixed emotions in your words. and yes the hovering over ones self. You know I love what you said about the dandelions growing on their own, opposed to pulling them up and tossing them across the yard. Morning hugs to you Maur~ |

Zaynab, thank you. I hope all is well in Kuwait. Lori, the thistles gave me a break this year but those darn dandelions. I should just make wine out of them, but I don't drink Our weather hasn't given me enough nice days to clean out my gardens. But I have to eventually. Some day I am going to try an all weed garden and wouldn't I be surprised to see some flowers sneaking in? hugs M |

'I surrender to patience, drop the nagging of myself knowing that time is always there and one day, soon I hope to stop hovering over myself and allow the dandelions in my life to die on their own.' The thought of surrendering to patience....like that. Not an easy feat. |
