Of a sensoried and redeeming time
I come, bound for greater glory than
a simple gesture, unwittingly mine
in the break of these clasped hands.

Boundless, storied visages sought
never less from a traveler's fare,
distancing the purchase dearly bought
at this next chance, surely unaware.

How is it that you could have known
the beacon's bright, delirious stay,
upon another moment's infancy grown
into one blindingly union'd day?

Fair, the wonderment now at rest
past crossroads belied of this,
a remembered bond I long to caress
once more in a sweet, enduring kiss.

For now will suffice unto me
a lingering and precious dream,
when the hands that bind, increasingly
hold fast to what you might again redeem.
