Sunset


Lilac coloured linen skies,
Speckled red and dusted blue,
Light brushes of orange hue,
A dash of yellow and painted beautiful.

Whistling winds rustling in the tree tops high,
In time the moon shall at darkness' porch arrive.
Behold now, this magical horizon,
This abbreviated moment of Nature's perfection.
