This poem is dedicated to Guruswamy.

All The Pieces

One day
I asked a wise man
why it took so long
for him
to cure me…

He looked at me
with so much love
in his eyes
before he spoke…

My child…
if you want me
to fix your broken heart
you have to give me
all the pieces…

This is just an awesome write. It must be in the book. How I have lived this philosophy this past year and find it so personal. Incredible! Here's my vote.

...And yet we tend to want to hold on to this broken shards of our heart, and refuse to let them go...

Good write. I enjoyed this very much.

but wanted to stop in and vote while there was still time.
