Where did you go
To hide way
Under the bridge
To spend the day

You ran away
After that fight
Away from your thoughts
To spend the night

You cried
As you ran from me
The tears in you eyes
That I couldn’t see

The complete shame
Across your face
That reminds me
Of that place

The thoughts
I instilled in you
That you held
To be so true

You found out
They where a lie
When I couldn’t
Tell you why

There’s just one thing
I have to say
It hurts me that
Your not here today
