ARMY MAN

Army man
You're only eighteen
Army man
You're a fighter, flier or marine

You're old enough
Our country you defend
You're still young
Could you have been my friend?

Army man
You're too young to die
Army man
It's okay for you to cry

Keep on staying strong
You have so much to live for
Still you're a teen just like me
But now you're off to war

Army man
You're feeling all alone
Army boy
We pray you will come home

(big hugggssssssss) I believe so many families are feeling just this way, dearest friend, I have a brother and friend who are out in war right now and I am praying for them both! (sad sigh) My prayers are with you and all the others going off into action, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Cody, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Amen, Amen, Amen! We'll keep the home fires burning for them!--and a stream of prayers for their safe return!

Warm hugs,

You have captured the pathos delicately and sympathetically. The naivete of form suits that. Nice. You have my vote.

God bless and keep you, Namaste!

I just find it so sad that the age to go is so young myself, but I sure stand by the troops over there and am praying every day that they come home safely.  Nice job Cody.

Hi cowboy, I like the way you put this all together. Poetic and to the point, just like it is. I know the feeling. I'm a product of fort polk, La. It was awhile ago, but I know.
good job!!
