The world trip menu presents travellers with the chance to see different faces smiles that push lips into pleasant shapes eyes brighten in conjunction with that oral gesture. But I am still at my wood burning stove candle wax has long since dripped from wick laced mantles childhood kodak snapshots are cracked and old relationships have shed like dead skin tell me, does the world still offer a better way? Or do I have to threaten to be heard clean the cage and throw out the bird file complaints about misplaced work ethics, on longtime friendships that lose their sense on undecided resolve that sat on the fence. Would this be a kind of internal visit to my office of what appears to be perceived, at the board of "lets see life through a prospector's sieve?" How self-deceiving..caught in frayed relations on my time, time so precious...at this station. Should I rant about character fallout? how some characters rub the wrong way evoking memories from the past of relations that have since washed their minds of any recollection of what was, or appeared to be and I be considered again a ship in the night a traveller adrift in stormy gales that bite. Should I still not speak to strangers? but kind tasks will return to me yet sour friendships may curdle resolve will transport me to other hurdles. But what if I were to fall and have to live with all those characters and memories of what made smiles genuine. [This message has been edited by ecrivan (04-06-2003 09:32 AM).] |

Carefully thought out self reflection of the very finest sort Martin. Going through the motions of our lives gives us very little time to take stock of such things. You have put you finger on the genuine pulse to healthy living. Good words my friend. |

You are a thinker, an hypothesizer, a raconteur, a philosopher--and a poet! I enjoy your poems for the snippets and glimpses of the you of you! Love & Light, Linda |

You do manage to leave me with the strangest thoughts...I was beginning to feel like a piece of charcoal, just itching to leave a message on a wall... Well done, Sir..."click" Karilea - If I whisper, will you listen?... |

(sigh) I think it is real important to have all these characters join us in the cast of our lives, to go on and stand in silence is a phlegmatic and lonesome feeling and if we invite all those we meet along the way to the curtain call it can feel so much colorful! (big hugggssssss) This is marvelous, sweet friend, you have my vote, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martin, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Hello Waldo, have a knack of looking deeply into myself and the characters I meet and that should be a key to successful living, if that living means coming to terms with these people and myself...thanks for sharing. |
