In the warm embrace of summer morning,
Often without a hint or warning,
You are the glow of sunrise sky.

A walk in the garden, mind in reflection
Your face appears when my glance goes
To softness of newly-awakened rose
Blushing in full-petalled perfection.

The splendid sun king broadcasts while
Showering sunbeams born of fire;
Songbirds' rhythmic roundelays in choir
Ignite me like your amorous smile.

End of day; and right on cue,
Melodies fill my space: reprise
Of love lyrics in exciting keys;
Life swings with the nearness of you.

Man,Patrick,you are an awesome writer! I really like how you phrase things.I'm sure your wife must love this.
I wanted to let you know that I responded to you in "9/11/00".I included a site that I hope you will share with your friend.There is also the book,"Journey From Abandonment To Healing",which I find to be incredibly insightful.I wish your friend healing.
Anyway,I hope this makes it in the book for it is just beautiful.Vote!
