Searching for Love

There was a woman
And she searched for love
She was dilegent in her search
But could not find love
She asked other women
"Have you found love?"
Some had and were content
Others had not and also searched
"We have also looked for love,
but he is not here"
So she left and seached again
She searched in the hills and valleys
In the streets and market places
But she could not find love
And she sat by the road side
And she wept because she was alone
And without love
And a stranger came to her and said
"I have been looking for you everywhere!"
And she gathered up her things
And followed him

Arthur

Interesting - reminded me a bit of a 'fairy tale'.

Love reading all these great writes.
I write not!

This was neat...

I agree that it had dual meanings...either religious, or a love story.  Great job!

Like this... a cute, simple story, with a trailling conclusion.  Nicely done.

I like this one. It's deceptively simple.

This poem sounds lost
