** I just found out about the deleted poems, i haven't been on in a while** Why does it always hurt so bad To give away something you never had? Why does the world seem so unkind When we've lost something we could never find? And why do we suffer so much pain Only to let it happen once again? Maybe because we know inside That there are things is which we should confide That the lost poeces aren't lost at all And we need to get over just one more wall That trust and love is all we need And that alone is worth the pain we recieve Yes there will be tommorrow, but will you be there to greet it? |

'Why does it always hurt so bad To give away something you never had?' Because we're still holding onto the idea that we DO have it.  I wrote a piece of prose with similar ideas. Why does it always hurt so bad To give away something you never had Eliza, these lines strike me the most..why indeed? you have to delete the "resubmit after disaster" though..the title of the repost has to be exactly the same for the previous votes to be counted... |

Eliza, I have had many things in my life hurt so bad as of late, but all of this has hopefully brought me closer to healing and knowing that there is a higher power never giving me more than I can handle. Great poem. Dawn |
